Kay Giles

Managing Director

Kay joined Marine and Civil in 2000 initially to implement the company's administration of office procedures. As no documented systems or data reporting existed she began the long haul of putting the administrative policies in place.

Kay was central to improving the way the company viewed the importance of administration demonstrating that it woud work alongside the reputation for technical excellence that had been developed with Marine & Civil’s customers and other major contractors.

On 2008 she was appointed as Managing Director as part of the strategic plan to take the business to the next level.

 

 

John Neylon

Director 

John was instrumental in the establishment of Marine & Civil in 1992 to specialise in piling and marine related civil engineering projects.

He has been involved with major projects in Australia, UK, the Middle East, Hong Kong and India and has an excellent appreciation of the key elements required for successful project implementation.

Until 2007 John was Managing Director and his current role as Director of Business Development was part of the strategic plan to restructure the business for anticipated growth.

 

 

Kimberley Kohan

Finance Director 

Kimberley is a highly experienced and well-rounded business professional with over twenty years experience at senior level in corporate Australia.

She has expertise and experience in all aspects of business management from strategic operational issues through to complex financial management matters.

 

 

Damian Ryan

Operations Manager

Damian was appointed as Marine & Civil’s Operations Manager in 2008.  His appointment was part of a strategic plan to oversee the current and projected growth of the business.

Damian has executive management experience in both large and medium sized construction engineering companies within Western Australia.

As a Senior Manager on many well known projects in Western Australia, his design and construct contract experience have left him well-equipped to handle and deliver similar sized projects.

 

 

Craig Palmer

Business Development Manager

Craig was recruited initially to develop the formalisation of the business processes and systems through completion of a certified Integrated Business Management System.

Over the past 17 months Craig has implemented considerable organisational reform to support Marine and Civil’s continued improvements and growth expectations.

Before joining Marine and Civil Craig held a Commercial Development role at ENJO Australia for four years before taking up the position of Manager Business Development with National Hire.

 

 

Andrew Butterworth

General Manager - Plant and Equipment Division

Andrew joined Marine & Civil in 2008 as the General Manager of the Plant & Equipment Division.

He has many years experience of managing marine and construction equipment fleets together with a sound understanding of shipping logistics for some of Australia’s remote territories.
